This Privacy Policy describes how Tech Process, Inc. ("Tech Process," "we," or
"us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Tech Process, Inc.
Notification Program (the "Program"), the SMS and email alert service described on our
Program sign-up page.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to operate the Program:
- Name — submitted by you on the sign-up form, used to identify you on the
recipient list.
- Email address — submitted by you on the sign-up form, used to deliver
email notifications and to contact you about the Program.
- Mobile phone number — optional, and collected only if you choose to
receive text message alerts.
- SMS opt-in and consent records — the fact that you checked the SMS consent
box (or gave verbal consent to an authorized administrator), and the date and time of that
consent, retained as proof of consent.
- Message delivery records — basic logs of messages sent, delivery status,
and STOP/HELP replies, used to honor opt-out requests and troubleshoot delivery.
We do not collect payment information, government identifiers, location data, or browsing
activity through this Program. Tech Process, Inc. does not sell any product or service through
the Program.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To send the automated, event-triggered alerts you signed up for (for example
"Message Printed," "Reminder: {{eventName}} today," and "Server Offline").
- To maintain the recipient list and honor opt-out (STOP) and help (HELP) requests.
- To retain proof that you consented to receive text messages, as required by wireless
carriers and messaging regulations.
- To respond to you when you contact us about the Program.
We use your information for no other purpose. The Program is never used for marketing,
promotional, or sales messaging of any kind.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third
parties for marketing purposes.
Your mobile phone number and SMS consent information are never shared with third parties or
affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes, and are never sold, rented, or
traded to anyone.
Tech Process, Inc. shares your information only in these limited cases:
- Message delivery providers. We use a licensed SMS/MMS messaging provider
and wireless carriers solely to transmit the messages you requested. They may process your
phone number only to deliver those messages on our behalf and may not use it for their own
marketing.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, legal
process, or a valid government request.
4. Data Retention and Security
We keep your information for as long as you remain on the recipient list, and we keep consent
and opt-out records afterward only as long as needed to demonstrate compliance with messaging
regulations. Information is stored on systems operated by Tech Process, Inc. and protected by
access controls limited to authorized administrators.
5. Your Choices and Rights
- Stop text messages: reply STOP to any message from the
Program at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts.
- Get help: reply HELP to any message, or email us at the
address below.
- Access or deletion: you may request a copy of, correction to, or deletion
of your information at any time by emailing
support@techprocessinc.com.
- SMS is optional: consent to receive text messages is never a condition of
signing up for email notifications or anything else.
6. Children's Privacy
The Program is intended for authorized adult recipients and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we change this Privacy Policy, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the
"Last updated" date above.
