Peter Schwarz ("Owner," "I," "me") operates a personal, non-commercial SMS/MMS notification system ("the Program") that sends automated status alerts from a personal home server and related devices to a small, private, pre-approved list of recipients, consisting of the Owner and specific family members who have each individually agreed to receive these messages. The Program does not send messages to the general public, does not solicit new sign-ups from strangers, and is not used for marketing or promotional purposes.

Message frequency varies and is triggered only by events on the Owner's own personal systems (not a fixed schedule). Message and data rates may apply.
No phone number is ever added to the Program without the number's owner first giving explicit, affirmative consent. Recipients — including family members — opt in using the form below (embedded directly on this page), or, for family members who prefer it, verbally in person with the Owner reviewing the same disclosures before enabling their number.
The checkbox above is unchecked by default and consent to receive SMS is never bundled with or required for any other purpose.

Phone numbers and names collected for this Program are used solely to operate the Program (i.e., to send the status/reminder messages described above) and for no other purpose.
